Close Up, a student tourism and educational company based in Washington, D.C., offers a unique experience for Tribal students enrolled in one of the federally recognized Tribes with membership in USET (United Southern and Eastern Tribes). During this one-week event each spring, Tribal students interact with youth, Tribal leaders and delegates from across the eastern and southern regions of the United States. They enhance their understanding of the relationship between Tribal Nations and the U.S. Government, and the role of USET in Native American advocacy. This program is ideal for high school students who wish to explore the world of Tribal government and develop leadership skills.
